Currently the 19-year-old ace is trying to adapt himself at being on time earning for training while it is still dark.

The coach Brandon Rogers has great hopes for this PSG prodigy.

During his first week morning training session, the youngster was left stunned under the floodlights found at Lennoxtown. According to the Celtic manager, the young player is still adapting and he does not think that Edouard has ever trained at 11am in the morning while the floodlights are on and during such rainy weather conditions. On his first tactical session training day with the rest of the squad, he seemed to be a bit cold, but he will soon adapt to the Scottish football.

Rodgers strongly believes that Edouard is going to be beneficial for the team and that he has the advantage of coming from this pure and typical French football academy. He has been spotted through their French youth system for his agility and speed. He is also a strong player who has a great touch. Currently Edouard is on a rising curve in his career and he can only progress and improve his performance in the coming months. Now it’s only a question to see how far the young striker can go. The key factors that are going to be determining for him will be his personality, determination and attitude during his matches. However, if today anyone must judge him, it’s a clear fact that he is a big talent to the football world.

The only business that Brandon Rodgers has been able to get to accomplish during the last transfer window was the arrival of Edouard and the much-awaited return of Patrick Roberts. Knowing that he lacked someone in the centre-half position, Rodgers tried his best to get someone to fill in that post. The South African Rivaldo Coetzee was his first choice; however, the deal was not conclusion due to an injury of the player. Jason Denayer, the Belgian defender was another possibility at some point of time, but he quickly made it clear that he wanted another stint with Galatasaray in Turkey. Finally, Celtic found themselves without any signing for the post of defender.

Currently, Celtic has some promising young talents in Kristoffer Ajer, Anthony Ralston and Odsonne Edouard. They all got great talent, but what seems to be missing at the moment is certainly players with experience. Rodgers does not want to bring any wrong player that could disrupt his plans, and believes that his young talents will develop to become better players and learn through their experience.
